How To Wean Off Zoloft Tablets Slowly Without Any Side Effects?
My friend has weaned herself off of zoloft (with a doctor s guidance) about a month ago. She hasn t taken the drug in over two weeks. About two weeks ago she suffered symptoms of diarrhea and Nausea. This past Friday she got a headache so severe that she can t even talk to me on the phone. She went to the ER on Friday and they did a CT scan, a spinal puncture and drew blood. Everything came back normal. She still has an enormous headache. It is incapacitating. Could this be a bad virus? If not, what could it be and more importantly should she be in the hospital with such severe pain? step

The CT scan and lumbar puncture would have checked for lesions in the brain and infection.
The fact that these are normal is good.
It is possible then that the headache may be related to migraines if she has a previous history, these can also cause severe headaches.
Her GP can give her strong pain medication to help her.
